The sonic lovechild of Nina Simone, Amy Winehouse, Jill Scott, Sade and Erykah Badu, her music is laced with bossa nova, and neo-soul, while being heavily jazz-inspired. As a performer she could sing the alphabet and it would be captivating, vocal powerhouse Doëlla and a roster of her nearest and dearest promise to deliver otherworldly vocals, soulful groove-led arrangements, and a room full of people who just get it.
