Description

Echo Wave Sessions — the charity event series run by Real Sounds — is putting on a fundraising gig in London to support Young Sounds UK. Every ticket purchased helps young musicians from low-income families access music and overcome financial and social barriers.

***Caroline Trettine -*** a former singer-writer with The Blue Aeroplanes, achieved cult success with her record ‘Be a Devil’ in the 1990s, on Billy Bragg’s ‘Utility’ label, managed by the legendary Pete Jenner. She has since had an eclectic journey through music e.g. songs, beats, strings, musicals, rock, folk and poetry.

**Zak Stinchcombe -** brings together a love of English folk and American rock and roll in his melodic guitar playing and his rich lyric writing to produce songs entirely of his own voice. He has played prolifically across the circuit and has released 3 EPs. Following a brief hiatus after the birth of his daughter, he is currently writing his debut album for her.

***Handsome Waitress -*** London-based alternative band and purveyors of fresh denim. Inspired their eclectic mix from soul and blues to post-punk.

**Darcy Harding** is an independent London based singer/songwriter, blending folk and alternative indie. Darcy’s sound can be likened to artists such as Big Thief, Boy Genius and Alex G.

***Artists:*** We are always interested in hearing from talented artists. If you’d like to play at our future events, please get in touch at info@realsounds.uk.
