Description

Have you ever wondered what our dreams and imagination can say about our inner psychology? A founding father of depth psychology, he developed the pioneering concepts of the collective unconscious, the archetypes (including the shadow and the self), synchronicity, individuation, creative self-realisation and more.

In this talk, we’ll explore key Jungian concepts in relation to how Jung combined ancient Eastern wisdom with Western psychology. We’ll learn how this can be understood as a form of ‘sacred science’ reflecting the spiritual crisis of late stage capitalism. We’ll look at the instrumental role of imagination, dreams and symbols in Jung’s psychoanalysis. We’ll consider how Jung’s psychoanalysis is still relevant today as a powerful tool to facilitate creativity in support of both individual and collective growth.
