Plants Can Dance returns to Hideout for a Sunday afternoon exploring the connection between the natural world and music!
Join us for a biosonification workshop, where you get the chance to make music from plant electrical signals, then hear Earth Percent's Sophia Shnapp deliver her recent TEDx talk on the initiative to give nature a status as a co-composer, and bio-designer Paul Triechl talk about his new magazine and platform Feral Worlding. You'll then hear performances from PCD residents Brian d'Souza and Lamine Toure, with guest Pierre Paslier experimenting with modular synthesisers and reel-to-reel tape machines.
If you are interested in nature, the environment, ambient music, plants and synthesisers - join us!
