Our first screening will be the classic video nasty **DRILLER KILLER**

**Driller Killer (1979)**, directed by Abel Ferrara, is a grimy, low-budget exploitation horror set in New York’s punk-era art scene. The film follows Reno Miller, a struggling artist whose mental state unravels under financial pressure, noise, and urban decay, leading him to a murderous rampage with a power drill. Its raw violence and bleak tone caused major controversy, earning it notoriety in the UK as a banned “video nasty” and later cult-classic status.
