Description

Dutch project Don Melody Club brings its storm-soaked new chapter to Berlin. Behind the name stands Amsterdam-based Donald “Donny” Madjid, also known as a member of The Mauskovic Dance Band.

Written and fully recorded in a modest seaside apartment on the Dutch coast, Klassiek Gedonder is an unpolished break-up record powered by the legendary Roland TR-808 and a carefully curated selection of analog synths. Warm, direct, and deeply human, the album moves like a turbulent day by the sea—through love, doubt, hope, and quiet political tension. Every sound is shaped with intention, forming the organic pulse of what Donny affectionately calls the West Coast Sound: Zandvoort Nedersoul.

In Berlin, Don Melody Club transforms this intimate material into a groove-heavy, heartfelt live experience charged with coastal electricity.

Special guest:

Chicos de Nazca, founded in Santiago in 2010 by Francisco KB Cabala (also of La Hell Gang) and now based in Berlin. Working exclusively with analog equipment, the band blends folk, classic psychedelia, and subtle krautrock influences into hypnotic, groove-driven compositions.

With over fourteen albums — including Blowing Inside (2014), Freshera (2023), and Cherry Bowl (2025) — their sound is defined by blues-soul guitar riffs, meditative atmospheres, and richly textured arrangements. A new chapter is already unfolding for 2026.
