Description

**Gotobeat is excited to team up with Blondies Brewery to welcome Struck/Down for a special Album Release Show with Paint Me Crimson and Carrie Abyss on Saturday, April 11th!**

**Struck/Down -** Struck/Down are a 5 piece modern metal / groove metal outfit from the heart of Kent, with clean vocals and heavy riffs. Drawing on their shared love of classic groove metal and modern metal and utilising sub-genres to make the music their own. Notable influences include: Black Sabbath, Machine Head, Black Label Society, Gojira and Lamb of God.

With the release of ‘The Slog’ the band continue to build on their successes and with it comes a preview of their upcoming album release.

**Paint Me Crimson -** Paint Me Crimson is an alternative/metal band, formed in 2023, and inspired by the metalcore scene of the 2000s. Bound together on a cathartic journey, the Londoners blend cinematic experiences with unique performances. After releasing four singles and touring around the UK, the band released "Bloodmoon", their latest single to date, and the beginning of a new story.

**Carrie Abyss -** The urgent, politically charged new project of London-based artist Bernadette Lara is cathartic rage manifested. Alt-pop and modern metal fuse to craft something as hyper and fun as it is caustic and eviscerating. An honest, emotionally maximalist musical exploration of her early-20s identity crisis that brings to mind the soundtrack to an epic final boss battle in a feminist-revenge video game.
