A well-versed DJ who doesn’t believe in guilty pleasures, Manara has become legendary on underground club circuits across the world for her uninhibited blend of deep club cuts, pop divas, garage and Bollywood samples. Following her now iconic Boiler Room appearance in 2017, she has brought her sound to everywhere from Berghain to Tokyo and Glastonbury.

Manara’s sets and weekly radio show on BBC Asian Network mix culture across continents with one goal: fun. As The Guardian put it when they included Manara in their article on 30 bands and artists to see live before you die: ‘her sets involve the kind of methodical stimulation of pleasure neurohormones normally conducted in a medical research facility’. Facts. And with Manara’s notoriety for fun club edits and daring live blends that continue to set dance floors and airwaves ablaze, it’s no surprise she’s inspired so many others.
