Violeta Vicci & Bruno Bavota with Masal

Even Butterflies Make A Sound is delighted to present two incredible musicians as they tour together as a duo for the first time. Vocalist and violinist Violeta Vicci (Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Fontaines DC) and pianist Bruno Bavota (Not Me But Us) released their first collaborative LP, *Be Human*, start of May. Much-loved Essex duo, Masal, are the amazing support act.

*Be Human* is a celebration of life and interacting with the world around us. It tells a story of Violeta and Bruno’s separate journeys to meet and their connection in the studio. Most tracks were captured in single takes, keeping the spontaneity and imperfections of their first encounter, with minimal post-production to preserve the feel of a live performance. The raw creativity and sheer excitement of making music comes through in every note.

Masal is a collaboration between Al Johnson and Ozlem Simsek. Ozlem is a Turkish multi-instrumentalist whose middle eastern background is entwined with her western studies in classical music. Al performs psychedelic electronic music as Alien. As Masal they weave harp, theremin, and electronics into a beautiful aural journeys.
