Leeds Bboy and Bgirl event Fresh Jive (est 1998) celebrates its 28th Birthday in the Howard Assembly Room. Featuring a headline performance from Bronx Pioneer Grandmaster Caz. Regarded by many as one of the greatest ever to perform and an inspiration to many of the household names in Hip Hop history. Witness world class entertainment as one of the architects of Hip-Hop culture joins forces with the very best of West Yorkshire’s scene.

This live performance from an all-star cast of artists celebrates West Yorkshire Hip Hop Vol 1‘s vinyl launch. There’s also an offer to buy the record with the ticket at a reduced rate. It will be followed by DJ Woody‘s (World DJ Champion) History of Hip Hop Live AV Show. Check this crazy show from one of the UK’s finest ever turntablists beamed onto the big screen.

Fresh Jive has been bringing Hip Hop dancers and artists from across the world to perform in Leeds since its early days as a weekly Saturday at the Faversham in 1998 including Masta Ace, Roots Manuva, The Sugarhill Gang, DJ Premier, Lord Finesse, Last for One (Korea), The Floorlords (USA), Supernatural, DJ Craze, Gift of Gab, Mobb Deep, Public Enemy and more.
