Janine Harouni is a stand-up comedian, writer and actress with over 740,000 social followers and more than 150 million views of her stand-up online. Her debut on BBC’s Live at the Apollo became one of the most-watched in the show’s history, amassing over 30 million views. Twice nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award, Janine’s recent show Man’oushe—performed at 8.5 months pregnant—toured internationally, selling thousands of tickets across the UK, India, Dubai, LA and New York. Her latest show This Is What You Waited For premiered at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe before transferring to a two week run at London’s Soho Theatre and launching a new international tour across the UK, North America and Europe.

Janine’s debut hour Stand Up with Janine Harouni (Please Remain Seated) was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe, earned 5-star reviews in The Times, and was highlighted by The New York Times. Originally filmed for Amazon Prime UK, it is now available on YouTube.

On screen, Janine has appeared in The Batman, The People We Hate at the Wedding, HBO’s The Franchise and Bob’s Burgers, with forthcoming roles in a new BBC series and Apple TV+’s Trying.
