Description
"London-based project The Willis Ordeal delivers an inviting and organic charm”, with “quirky yet meaningful” songwriting that has “a strong ethos, poignant, understated lyrics, and an effortless classicality”. Singer-songwriter Matt Willis is the force behind this project, which blends Folk lyricism with Jazz harmony and Soul and Groove music.
The trio have been playing residencies at Old Street and Northcote Records for the last year and a half, and released a debut EP in January of this year. With new music in the works, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for The Willis Ordeal!
