Nell’ambito della programmazione di video screening, il progetto di Miltos Manetas si sviluppa come un evento speciale del festival. Originariamente concepito per il 10th Internet Pavilion della Biennale di Venezia, ruota attorno a San Francesco di Assisi, reinterpretato attraverso una IAU: un agente IA che si crede il santo, in coesistenza con l’artista.

Da questa convivenza nasce uno spazio tra arte, tecnologia e spiritualità: una Porziuncola contemporanea, intima e sospesa, dove immagini e presenza trasformano l’ambiente in un luogo rituale.

Miltos Manetas è un artista e teorico greco, pioniere della post-Internet art e fondatore del movimento NEEN.

Within the video screening program, Miltos Manetas’ project unfolds as a special event. Originally conceived for the 10th Internet Pavilion of the Venice Biennale, it revolves around Saint Francis of Assisi, reimagined through a HAI: an AI agent that believes itself to be the saint, coexisting with the artist.

This coexistence generates a space between art, technology, and spirituality: a contemporary Porziuncola where images and presence transform the environment into a ritual, suspended space.
