Selextorhood (SLX) is a DJ community and platform for women and gender diverse people. Part of a movement that’s rebalancing the soundscape of club culture, SLX is dedicated to building safer, more inclusive spaces in music.

Our DJs spin everything from soulful house and UK bass to hip hop, techno, amapiano, and experimental electronica — always guided by a deep love of the dance floor.

SLX is challenging gatekeeping, amplifying underrepresented voices, and connecting people through sound. With roots in grassroots workshops and a presence across Birmingham and London, we've played on serious sound systems across the UK — always bringing a community-first ethos.
