Dilla Time

Dilla Time is a tribute to J Dilla as well as a hip-hop, soul, and funk night. With local DJs Big P, JAL, and EDS bringing you some tasteful, old-skool cuts.

Followed up by young hip-hop connoisseur Dylan Jay, delivering you a tribute set to legendary and highly acclaimed music producer J Dilla. Most well-known for his signature “drunken” rhythm and innovative sampling.

Over the span of Dilla’s career, he’s released his own solo albums, and has produced countless masterpieces for Slum Village, A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Erykah Badu, Busta Rhymes, The Pharcyde, MF Doom just to name a few.

Dilla Time isn’t just any old DJ night, it’s a curated music experience and fantastic opportunity to round your mates up, grab a drink, and have a memorable time with us down at the Smokehouse.
