A boundary pushing night with live broken beat and global sounds featuring Streeton on the decks alongside saxophonist Oliva & live percussion from Will Fox. This is broken beat seen in a forward thinking light with focus on the live conversation between musicians and DJ. Expect an evening blend of jazz, soul, dub, dancehall, house and broken beat, with deep Afro and Latin influences.

Will Fox

On the live percussion on the evening, multi-instrumentalist Will Fox is also an arranger, producer and compiler. Will moves in within soulful world, angling towards Jazz and its various permutations, and is unafraid to blend the hyper-melodic textures of Jazz with the deeper and more rhythmically truncated sounds of electronic music, drawing upon previous experiences in Berlin and Bristol.

Olivia Rome

Rooted in jazz, her playing blends rich tone with exploratory improvisation, reflecting both tradition and forward-thinking influences. Olivia has been expanding into the city’s jazz, dance, and broken beat circles, featuring in sets on Voices Radio and collaborating with emerging producers. With a sound that bridges live instrumentation and electronic textures, she is quickly making a name for herself in London’s new wave of genre-fluid artists.
