Description

Explore the science behind ADHD sleep patterns and how to work with your brain’s natural rhythms rather than against them. Followed by Q&A.

Why does sleep seem so simple for some people, yet so difficult for others with ADHD? What if the problem isn't your discipline, but your body clock?

For most of human history, people lived by the rhythms of light and darkness, the seasons and their communities. Then the mechanical clock arrived – and suddenly everyone was expected to keep the same schedule. But many bodies, especially those with ADHD, don’t follow that timetable.

Join Heather Darwall-Smith for the launch of The ADHD Sleep Book and explore the relationship between ADHD, sleep, and natural rhythms. Discover why your body clock might not match conventional bedtimes, why forcing sleep often backfires, and how to let go of the shame that can come with years of struggling. Whether you are diagnosed with ADHD or exploring, this talk will reveal why sleep is not just about willpower or “good habits”, but biology, rhythm and timing.

**Doors open at 7pm, talk starts at 7:30pm - come down early to grab a good seat!**
