OffBeat Presents: Gwenno

To close the OffBeat Folk Film Festival 2026 we will be joined by the inimitable Gwenno at Cecil Sharp House.

Gwenno Saunders is one of our favourites and we're extremely lucky and excited that she will be performing as the headline act of the second edition of our festival.

Gwenno is a Welsh and Cornish singer, songwriter and producer whose work sits in somewhere between pop, psych and folk (is there any sweeter spot?). She sings primarily in Welsh and Cornish and her three studio albums represent some of the best and most distinctive new music around.

The OffBeat Folk Film Festival was set up to promote contemporary folk, vernacular, and place-based film and culture. It brings together work that might not otherwise be screened and hopes to show a broader and more inclusive definition of folk culture.
