Dead Pioneers emerged as a dynamic extension of Gregg Deal’s performance art, seamlessly blending music with critical social commentary. The bands sound acts as a powerful platform for addressing the complexities of Indigenous experience. Harnessing the raw energy of punk to challenging prevailing narratives and evoking emotion, they engage the audience in a visceral dialogue about survival, resilience and reclamation of voice.

Petrol Girls are a glorious staple of the post-hardcore scene. Their playful, fast-paced and chaotic punk is a political blast of rage that is as important as it is fun, as demonstrated on their excellent 2022 full-length, ‘Baby’. It’s damn good to have them back!
