DOOM GONG land at The Castle on Friday 3rd July, bringing their chaotic, genre-melting sound from Louisville, Kentucky. Self-described as Denim Psych, their music fuses psychedelic rock, jazz fusion, lo-fi textures, bedroom pop and experimental sounds into something totally their own.

Formed in 2022 by seven music school obsessives, DOOM GONG have quickly built an international following. With two LPs already out and a third—MEGAGONG—on the way, they’ve become a standout name on the modern psych scene, sharing stages with Amyl and the Sniffers, The Black Angels and BADBADNOTGOOD.

Their live shows are where it all comes alive: seamless, unpredictable and fully immersive. Expect hypnotic grooves, left turns and moments that hit out of nowhere.
