Lewisland + Friends

Lewisland is an Afro-Funk musical project created by Nigerian-born, London-based artist and Multi-instrumentalist, Lewis Enwegbara. Lewisland blends analog and digital sounds to create real life anthems, which manifest into electrifying live performances. The band consists of a collective of London’s finest musicians and is well known for exploring funky grooves and engaging the audience through crowd work by frontman Lewis.

Also performing with his band on the night will be Aro Kuma. Aro is a British-Nigerian artist, guitarist, and producer formerly known by the stage name Zero-B1. Rebranded to Aro Kuma as an evolution of his musical identity, focusing on a sound that blends “guitar-led African alternative,” incorporating elements of spoken word, rap, soul, and live instrumentation. Emerging from London’s independent scene, Aro Kuma carved out a sound rooted in curiosity and cultural rhythm blending lo-fi textures, live guitar loops, and poetic introspection.

DJ-ing on the night will be the London-based DJ and impresario, Jason Leung. He started a club night called Eclectrik! 7 years ago to promote underground house music, and uniquely, starts the club with an evening of dance-adjacent live music. He is known for his multi-genre sets, specialising in a dancefloor-friendly mix of soulful house, future jazz, Afrobeat and Latin rhythms.
