Charley Stone's "totally solo" songs have a wistful quality with lots of reverb and layered harmonies gazing out of windows. With the Actual Band these songs gain a Modern Lovers garage-rock energy, as sung by someone like Tanya Donelly or Susannah Hoffs... or Moe Tucker... probably.
