On Saturday 15th August we invite a true innovator of the global club underground to the booth — DJ Paypal.

Renowned for their pioneering role in edit culture and boundary-pushing contributions to Footwork and Juke, DJ Paypal stands as a defining figure in contemporary electronic music. From official remixes for artists like Homeshake, Balming Tiger, Machinedrum and Aristophanes, to hundreds of bootlegs heard in DJ sets worldwide, their sound has left a lasting imprint across dancefloors globally.

A core member of the legendary Chicago collective Teklife — founded by DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn — Paypal continues to evolve the genre’s DNA. Their work spans seminal labels including Hyperdub, Planet Mu, Brainfeeder and LuckyMe, alongside their own imprint Mall Music Inc, where they’ve cultivated a forward-thinking roster and signature hi-definition, synth-rich take on footwork.

Described by Mixmag as “hyperactive footwork that slices and dices the beating heart of disco and boogie,” Paypal’s sets are nothing short of electrifying — a psychedelic, high-octane club workout that bridges past, present and future at 160 BPM.

With appearances at MoMA PS1, Low End Theory, Roskilde Festival and Dour Festival, and tours spanning Europe, Asia and the Americas, this is a rare chance to catch one of the most dynamic forces in club music live.
