**\-Houndshark**

London art rock four-piece Houndshark seamlessly blend an eclectic combination of influences and genres, from the droning indie rock of Yo La Tengo, to the noisy chaos of no wave-era Sonic Youth, as well as the experimental improvisations of Krautrock acts like Can and Neu!, courtesy of German-born frontman Paul Schacht. Together with drummer Henri Parnell, bassist Jan Wilczur and saxophonist/aerophone player/experimental sound artist Jake Bubb the band have managed to make a name for themselves in the London club scene, through their hypnotic and loudly energetic performances, having even opened for Danish post punk legends Iceage in Cologne with an earlier lineup.

After releasing only three singles so far, the band is set to present their debut EP in late 2026, the songs of which can (in part) already be heard in their live sets.
