Champion Trees and Kaspar Hauser embark on a joint UK tour this August. For the Brighton date on Thursday 13th they will be joined by local folk artist zosia on a hill.
Champion Trees is a band from Cape Town, South Africa, that recently moved to the UK and released their second album, A Duck's Water Off My Back - a gentle and immersive record graced with memorable lyrics and gorgeous woodwind and string arrangements.
Kaspar Hauser is a south London indie folk, chamber pop and experimental band formed in 2022. Their recent album The Pink Parade features 56 minutes of richly arranged story telling songs, often tackling themes of emotions, mental health, love and nature.
zosia on a hill is a Brighton-based multi-disciplinary artist and musician. Her work focuses on the magical Self and its connection to landscape and nature. She has been developing her music, in secret, quiet moments and spaces. The latest manifestation of this has come in the form of her first EP, green is the shadow, the contents of which are delicate reflections on and insights into her inner world and a soft outcry for reconnection. Her music is a gentle exploration of intimate folk-inspired sounds and feelings. It draws inspiration from the musical world of artists like Sibylle Baier, Jessica Pratt, Linda Perhacs, Aldous Harding, and Molly Drake, and is dedicated to all those who find beauty in stillness.
Presented by Falling Moon.
