After our first sucsessful night in Crystal Palace last month, we're back with a banger of a line up.
“Gifted and charismatic songwriter” — Tom Robinson
Folklore presents an intimate evening of folk, harmony and spellbinding songwriting at Hopscotch featuring Rosie Miles, Sylvid and Tara Rai.
Blending indie, folk and jazz influences, Rosie Miles has built a reputation for emotionally rich songwriting, soaring melodies and deeply personal live performances. Inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell, Madison Cunningham and Laura Marling, her music moves between warmth, wit and heartbreak with effortless intimacy. Following her acclaimed debut EP Still Life, Rosie’s recent work strips things back to their bare essentials — just voice, guitar and stories that cut straight through.
Opening the night are Sylvid, bringing brand new trad-inspired folk songs and luminous harmonies, alongside South London artist Tara Rai, whose atmospheric work draws on folk traditions, spiritual enquiry and elemental soundscapes. Across releases including Mauta and Bardo, Tara explores themes of death, rebirth, grief and transformation through haunting, immersive songwriting.
A beautiful night of intimate folk and powerful storytelling in the heart of Crystal Palace.
