Karibuni tena kwenye ‘The Orange Room’ on Saturday 3rd October in Stratford for the second installment of Kiiswahili, London’s new networking and nightlife event for Swahili speakers, learners and lovers of East African Culture and Music.

Created by Baraka (@barak\_a\_ on TikTok), Kiiswahili brings together the Swahili diaspora to connect, practice the language, celebrate culture, and party in one inclusive space.

Join us from 7pm for a Kiiswahili lesson and mixer, before we turn on the music and serve food at 9pm to mark our 2-hour happy hour, and then party into the night, finishing at 2:00am. Expect a soundtrack of Bongo Flava, Chakacha and Singeli and more as we turn the lights down and the music up.

And no, Kiiswahili isn’t a spelling mistake. Inspired by “kiki” culture, the name reflects a social gathering centred around conversation, community and good vibes. Everyone is welcome.
