


Les Thomas is a Melbourne-based songwriter writing authentic, story-driven folk songs of history, place and lived experience. Winner of the Troubadour Foundation’s Keeping the Flame Alive Award, he is known for clear, compassionate writing and a warm baritone voice that brings depth and authority to his work.
His forthcoming album I Remember Everything explores memory, resilience and the search for humanity in difficult times. In July 2026 he will tour the UK, including an appearance at the Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival.
On stage, Les delivers intimate, literate performances that draw audiences in and hold them there, grounded in connection, insight and song.
