Description

Ellie Middleton joins Lucy Ellis for a conversation on neurodivergence and navigating life as an autistic and ADHD person. Followed by Q&A.

After a lifetime of feeling misunderstood, Ellie Middleton was diagnosed with both autism and ADHD at 24. It felt like the light had finally been switched on – but the room was messy. And she quickly found she wasn’t the only one.

In this talk, Ellie opens up about her experience and the mission it sparked: to challenge the misconceptions about neurodivergent conditions that are preventing people from getting the help they need, and to provide simple, actionable support so that others don’t have to live with the fear and shame she did.

Drawing from her book, Unmasked – and its brand new bonus chapter written exclusively for the paperback – Ellie covers everything from the diagnostic process and masking to sensory overload and navigating the workplace. She’ll also be sharing the ten biggest lessons she’s learnt since the book first published, including ‘the way you feel now isn’t the way you’ll feel forever’ and ‘rest is not something you earn by being productive’.

**Doors open at 7pm, talk starts at 7:30pm - come down early to grab a good seat!**
