The Robert Brian Quartet

Grammy-winning drummer and producer Robert Brian returns to his first love — jazz — bringing a electrifying mix of swing, Latin, funk, drum & bass and everything in between to 12 Bar.

Rob's impressive career spans collaborations with Siouxsie Sioux, Simple Minds, Peter Gabriel and Goldfrapp, and that breadth of influence is written all over the Quartet's sound: rooted in jazz tradition but fearlessly modern, with inventive rhythms, tight arrangements and room for open improvisation.

Joining him on the night are Mat Sibley on tenor saxophone, John-Paul Gard on keyboards and synths, and Paul Jefferies on upright and electric bass — a lineup of seasoned jazz musicians who together create something genuinely fresh.
