From the first kick of the ball to the final whistle, football has generated an extraordinary collection of colours, players, supporters, rivalries, victories, defeats, memories and myths.

For generations these things have been kept carefully apart.

UNITED imagines a different outcome.

Across a series of new works, Henry Collins explores what might happen if the many fragments of the beautiful game began to drift together, forming unexpected connections and unfamiliar new shapes.

Part celebration, part experiment and part dream, UNITED invites visitors to see football from a different angle, where opposition softens, boundaries blur and separate things briefly become one.
