**Laura Roy**
A Canadian artist & Grammy-nominated songwriter whose journey from rural Nova Scotia to some of the world's largest stages reflects a continually evolving artistic vision. Rooted in the storytelling traditions of Canada's East Coast, she blends contemporary folk, R&B, & alternative pop with a distinctive voice marked by emotional depth & expressive nuance.
Based between the UK & Canada, Roy has toured internationally as a backing vocalist for major artists. After nearly a decade abroad, she returned to Nova Scotia to create her debut full-length album, Late Bloomer Season, a deeply personal project inspired by the landscapes, communities, and memories that shaped her early years. The album has been widely praised as her most authentic and fully realised work to date, capturing both the intimacy of her East Coast roots and the breadth of her global experiences.
