Bermondsey Carnival 2026

Bermondsey Carnival is one day a year when the whole community lands in the same place at the same time. Grandkids and grandparents, long-time locals and new faces, all here for the same reason: a proper day out, in the park, together.

Music runs across two stages, spanning genres you wouldn't normally hear back to back. There's a funfair, kids entertainment, football with Millwall Community Trust, food and drink from independent traders, community stalls, and DJs going from the first act to the last. From 1pm to 9pm, something is always happening somewhere in the park.

The Carnival has been part of this community for over a hundred years. It started as a local celebration rooted in the streets and people of SE16, and through every decade since, through change, regeneration, and everything the city has thrown at this corner of South London, it has never stopped. Made possible by the support of Southwark Council, local charities, and businesses committed to making SE16 a hub of excitement, culture, and community.

Just South East London doing what it's always done: coming together and making noise. And like every year before it, it won't cost you a penny to walk through the gates.
