This month at Badassery, SHUGI invites Ava Irandoost, an Iranian-born, Berlin-based DJ and multidisciplinary artist known for her cinematic and story-driven sets.

Together, they'll guide the dancefloor through hypnotic house, indie dance, rolling basslines, percussive grooves and unexpected gems.

As Ava puts it: "Whether it's a loop, a track or an entire set, it's always about telling a story. When it plays just right, we swim in it like fish in the ocean in the here and now."
