Alasdair Pennington is a drummer and composer who has recently established himself as a creative, exciting voice within the vibrant London jazz and improvised music scenes. He has performed throughout Europe and beyond including appearances at EFG London Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Vortex Jazz Club, Porgy & Bess Vienna, Cervantino Festival, Reykjavik Jazz Festival, Jamboree Jazz Club, and Philly Joe’s Tallinn, among others.

Each month Alasdair Pennington Trio features a changing line-up of highly sought-after, improvising musicians. Expect American Songbook repertoire, contemporary jazz standards, and original compositions, as well as special guests!
