A beautifully bewitching night awaits Brighton with the beguiling world of Sairie. Come celebrate and usher in their new album at the launch in Brighton's jewel of a church ( Aubrey Beardsley's place of worship, no less)
Sairie:
Deceptively stripped-back, other-worldly and beautiful. Ghosts, fairies and tragic love. The Brighton three-piece of Emma Morton, Jon Griffin and Andy Thomas cast magic spells upon the listener. Their music is like a séance;
An enchanted visit to the inside of a hollow hill.
Sairie now presents their first full-length album, Beneath the Spreading Tree.
The album continues Sairie’s exploration of early 70's folk influences, blending otherworldly atmospherics with stripped-back arrangements.
Eliza Skelton:
Brighton-based singer-songwriter and multi- instrumentalist, her songs are a genre-bending blend of atmospheric, gothic-tinged folk rock, electronica, and lush, pastoral vocal harmonies, complemented by visionary narrative lyrics.
Eliza released her debut solo album, The Lookerer, on Blue Matter Records and the limited edition LPs sold out soon after launch.
She is currently working on her second solo album due for release in 2027.
Digital download of The Lookerer is available:
