The Ciara Osuagwu Sextet

Ciara Osuagwu is a 17 year old rising jazz flautist and composer. From the age of 8, Lewisham Music Service nurtured her passion for jazz, introducing her to Tomorrow’s Warriors and the Junior Royal Academy of Music where she currently studies. For the past few years she has been mentored by some of the jazz scene’s inspirational music leaders including Gareth Lockrane, Denys Baptiste, and Romarna Campbell who have all helped shape her musical journey

The Ciara O Sextet features some of the most exciting up and coming young musicians, fellow students from Tomorrow's Warriors- Kassa Green-Jakcsi (alto sax), Aureliano Zufolo (trumpet), Ben Abraham (piano), Holly Reinhardt (bass) and Arlo Hill (drums).

Tomorrow’s Warriors offers a pioneering, free to access, comprehensive programme of learning and training which champions and supports young Black and female talent and those who come from challenging circumstances that would be a barrier to accessing opportunities to pursue a music career.
