Cinder Well

Cinder Well is the project of Los Angeles–based songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist Amelia Baker, whose haunting blend of contemporary folk, traditional song and cinematic composition has earned widespread acclaim. Her forthcoming album, A Blooming Body, expands her richly textured sound into its most immersive and expansive form yet, balancing delicate acoustic arrangements with deeply evocative storytelling.

Alongside composing the original score for the BBC series Small Prophets, Cinder Well has toured extensively across the US and Europe, sharing stages with Lankum, Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter, Pallbearer and 40 Watt Sun, while appearing at festivals including Roadburn, End of the Road and Amplifest. A 2024 NPR Tiny Desk performance further cemented her reputation as one of contemporary folk's most compelling voices.
