Description

ATLANTICUS is a British-American musical partnership bringing together the powerfully distinct musical personalities of both US and UK musicians, delivering a dynamic new entry to the rich transatlantic heritage of jazz.

ATLANTICUS draws from the storied tradition of the great Hammond organ groups, with a post-modern sound echoing the ground-breaking organ quartet of Larry Young’s Unity album and contemporary artists like Larry Goldings.

Terry Seabrook (organ) has long been considered one of the top UK keyboardists and bandleaders. He began his musical life on the violin before switching to piano, becoming enchanted with jazz after hearing Oscar Peterson.

Peter Fraize (saxophone) has been a commanding presence on the Washington, DC scene for over 30 years, where he is known for his impassioned and high-energy playing, intricate and melodic composing, and his "no-boundaries" sensibility.

Jack Kendon (trumpet) followed his father, renowned bassist Adrian Kendon, into the family business and has himself become a prominent force in the UK jazz world.

Milo Fell (drums) is one of the most sought-after drummers in UK Jazz today. Originally inspired by Ringo Starr and Animal from the Muppets, it was hearing Omar Hakim with Weather Report that drew him firmly into jazz.
