91 Fridays: Ivana June w/ Yazmine MB + Lewis Carroll (DJ)

On Friday 14th March, we're excited to welcome West London based Neo-soul, RnB and Jazz vocalist Ivana June with support from British- Algerian, BRIT school grad Yazmine MB. Come enjoy some vibes and hear two of London's best upcoming artists in the comforts of our intimate living room, followed by DJ Lewis Carroll who'll be firing up the dancefloor till late with his mix of 90s House and Garage, old-school 80s Disco and more.

ABOUT IVANA JUNE

Ivana June is a London-based artist, heavily influenced by her love for Neo-soul, RnB and Jazz. Ivana writes and co-produces her own music, having just released her second single 'In Time' at the end of 2024. The seeds for Ivana’s love and aptitude for music were sown early in her childhood as her father, Ben Bartlett, is a BAFTA award winning classical composer and taught her piano from a young age.

After later self-teaching herself guitar and bass guitar, she has become a multi instrumentalist and vocalist. Her father’s own love for jazz sparked Ivana’s appreciation of the genre and led to her eventual discovering of seminal artists such as Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill and Marvin Gaye. More recent inspirations of hers include Pip Millet, Ezra Collective, and Olivia Dean to name a few.

Ivana June has been playing her trade in numerous live venues all across London, with her devoted and extremely tight band. If the reception she gets at these gigs is anything to go by, Ivana is certainly one to watch for the future. “In Time” is just part of the beginning for this promising singer, with many more memorable songs ready to be released.

ABOUT YAZMINE MB

Yazmine MB is a multi-genre, soulful talent based in London. Growing up to a killer jazz, soul and rnb soundtrack of Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys and Amy Winehouse - Yazmine blends soul and jazz elements with hard-hitting lyrics and fresh R&B beats to create a fresh, fusion sound.

After graduating from the BRIT School of Performing Arts, Yazmine has catapulted onto the UK live scene performing at iconic venues including the Lafayette, ILUVLIVE, the 100 Club.

Most recently, Yazmine has dropped her debut EP ‘HEALER’, receiving critical acclaim from Notion, Earmilk, METAL, Echoes magazine and more. Tracks ‘WHAT’S IT LIKE TO DO NOTHIN’ and DONE MY TIME have landed spots on Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds UK and Ireland’ and ‘LED lights’ editorial playlists as well as spins on Reprezent Radio.
