DeepDig Summer Special arrives at Grow Hackney with an unmissable night of underground grooves. Tim Garcia digs deep with a four-hour set, joined by the live Afro-Latin energy of Tumabito.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Tim Garcia, Rinse FM resident and founder of the Musica Macondo label, brings a genre-blending selection of house, broken beat, jazz and Afro-Latin sounds. Formerly of Jazz FM and Worldwide FM, his sets are known for rare edits, deep selections and seamless flow—expect a masterclass from start to finish.

Joining him live is Tumabito, Williams Cumberbache’s Afro-Latin ensemble. Fusing live percussion, jazz improvisation and Latin rhythms, they breathe life into the records that inspire our DJs, creating a shared, high-energy experience.

Warming up is Vandorta, a trusted selector with a love of funk, broken beat and global grooves. With residencies at Sounds of the Universe, international radio shows and festival appearances, her sets combine deep knowledge with fresh energy.

This is more than a club night—it’s a summer celebration of grassroots music and global sounds.
