Hold On To Your Ego: A Tribute to Brian Wilson

"Join us for a special edition of the Belgrave Listening Group as we spend an afternoon and evening immersed in the world of one of pop music’s most singular minds. This event is not just a listening party or a film screening — it’s a tribute.

We’ll begin with a full-group focused playback of Pet Sounds (1966), the record that redefined the emotional and sonic potential of pop music. Then we’ll experience SMiLE, the fabled “lost” masterpiece that haunted Wilson for decades and was finally completed in 2004. To close the evening, we’ll screen Love & Mercy (2016), a moving biopic that captures both the darkness and brilliance of Brian’s life — from his creative peak to his battles with mental illness.
