Krautrock Kurator presents Kosmische Kommune

Krautrock Kurator returns to Norwich for an entirely new stand-alone event. Travel deeper into Kosmische music and history. Tracks are mixed on vinyl at audiophile quality within a mixed media experience.

Kosmische Kommune: Traditional structures fall away 71- 81- drone, ambience, freakout and groove

Communal Living in West Germany in the 60s and 70s broke down many traditional structures in society and similarly led to traditional structures in music being discarded by musicians at the time (living/working in Commune). Timeless music emerged and many modern music genres owe a debt.

The krautrock Kurator project was set up by Matt Thubron in 2022 to bring Kosmische music and history to new audiences. So far this has been by live performance and radio.
