Plattenbau: 'CURSED' In-Store + Signing

We're excited to welcome Berlin-based band Plattenbau to Rough Trade Berlin for a live performance and signing at the beginning of March. The band will be showcasing their recent album 'CURSED', which was released in December 2025.

PLEASE NOTE: Each ticket is bundled with a copy of the 'CURSED' LP on black or electric blue vinyl. You can pick up your copy on the night of the show and have it signed by the band after their performance.

Plattenbau is an international Berlin-based four-piece that fuses elements of post-punk, noise rock and wave into a dark and intense potion. Their sound blends robotic drums, gothy basslines, mystical guitars and paranoid synths into a mood akin to a 90s VHS horror soundtrack, tied together with deep, brooding vocals. The result is a sonic experience that feels both chaotic and meticulously crafted, on brand with their slogan “Tight, loose and evil”.

On ‘CURSED’, Plattenbau descends into darker waters, where doom, hardcore, and dungeon synth intertwine, cut with the blade of their signature sound. The record explores the creeping return to feudalism - where rival warlords devastate populations and ecosystems for personal gain, leaving powerless serfs to pick through the wreckage. And yet, despite the dread, ‘CURSED’ refuses despair. It is not a funeral march but an invitation: rage becomes ritual, noise becomes release, dance becomes defiance.
