May Payne: May Payne is a confessional emo-folk singer-songwriter. Raised in rural Dorset on a diet of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison, she first built a cult following online as a teenager for her outspoken personality and all-consuming obsession with music. Now London-based, she crafts hyper-vulnerable songs inspired by the raw organic sound of Big Thief and the shameless emotionality of 00s Emo.
