Ecran Total (FR)

Camille Lockhart, also known as Ecran Total, is a DJ and actress: when she leaves the theatre stage for the decks, it is to share a journey shaped by all the influences that have built her artistic identity. Her eclectic, warm, and surprising selections have one clear purpose: to bring people together and turn the party into a joyful and inclusive spectacle.

Because for her, it is all about telling stories — together.

In recent years, she has performed at the Primavera Sound, on the rooftop of the Philharmonie de Paris, and alongside artists such as Jayda G, Paul Johnson, Kings of Tomorrow, and David Morales. She has also appeared on Radio Nova in Yuksek’s Dance O Drome and on Sur le Transmetteur by Get A Room!.

In 2020, she began developing a musical and theatrical artistic performance aimed at merging her different creative worlds through a combination of DJ sets, audio excerpts, and theatre: Plein Feu. This hybrid and theatricalized show seeks to reaffirm the place of electronic music culture within the broader cultural landscape through the artist’s intimate universe.

More recently, she created a second performance based on the same principle of assemblage: Lilith. This new DJ-performance follows a feminist narrative, driven by an exclusively female musical selection, her perspective as an actress, and her embodiment of Lilith — a character given voice through the eponymous text by Hédi Tillette de Clermont-Tonnerre.

She also develops podcast versions of these formats and creates parallel adaptations for other radio stations and festivals.

An active figure within nightlife and the performing arts scene, she is also the author and artistic director of Second Mouse, through which she develops live performance projects at the crossroads of theatre, music, and dance (Le Jour met des nuits à se lever; upcoming: Teatro Jangueo: block party).

Her artistic practice — hybrid, ambitious, and innovative — aims to redefine the cultural experience and restore its essential role: connection.

She seeks to create work that opens, liberates, and connects people to one another, while remaining rigorous, ambitious, and deeply human.
