HumDrum are a 5-piece band crafting an evolving fusion of experimental rock, jazzy rhythms, and poetic surrealism. Their music weaves through genres — with a sense of vulnerability and volatility. Polished chaos with an atmosphere of deliberate imperfectionism, jagged rhythms and stirring melodies.

HumDrum’s early work embraced jazz-informed improvisation and melodic abstraction, but their new material marks a bolder step into textured experimentation. Taking inspiration from the likes of Bjork, Portishead, Duster, Stereolab and Youth Lagoon, the band will be showcasing their upcoming five-track EP. Their dreamy delicate harmonies that collide with distorted crescendos and introspective lyrics channel through warped electronics. At its heart, HumDrum is about emotional honesty and the beauty of imbalance. Their music explores the contradictions of being human — fragile yet defiant, surreal yet grounded.
