Ladbroke Hall is proud to welcome one of Italy’s top guitarists, Gianluca Figliola, for an evening of hard-bop and original compositions, joined by a quartet of high-profile UK musicians. Winner of “Jazz Club Bergamo” for Best Talent, Figliola has built a reputation as one of the most original and innovative voices in Italian jazz guitar today. Set within the intimate surroundings of Ladbroke Hall in Notting Hill, this is a rare opportunity to catch a rising international talent in a uniquely atmospheric setting.
Figliola released his debut album, It’s Strictly Forbidden, on the Jazz Collection label, and presented the record with his quintet — joined by trumpeter Flavio Boltro — at Rome’s celebrated Auditorium Parco della Musica. Since then, he has performed across Italy and internationally, leading his own groups through repertoires spanning jazz standards and original compositions, and collaborating with musicians drawn from both the Italian and international scenes.
**Line up**
