Crywank / angelic milk / Recovery Day

Crywank are an anti-folk/punk band from Manchester, who focus on sad songs, fluctuating between direct and confessional to tongue-in-cheek and self-depreciating. It started as a solo project of songwriter Jay Clayton on the same day they first picked up a guitar. To Jay’s surprise their simple songs and rough recordings resonated with people online and went viral. They have so far released eight albums (including the now classic ‘Tomorrow is Nearly Yesterday and Everyday is Stupid’) and have performed over 1000 shows around the world, all whilst being self-managed and unsigned.

angelic milk is a Berlin-based band that smashes chamber pop into garage rock. Led by the magnetic Sarah Persephona, their music spills out as introspective poetry tangled in an electric haze, combining rock’n’roll edge with dreamy nostalgia.

Recovery Day

Recovery Day is an up and coming slowcore band from Cologne. They take Inspiration from indie folk, post-rock and more — their new record “first time ive been outside in weeks” will be released on June 13th, and with it comes a release tour ending at Farewell Youth Fest.
