Description

Berlin, Stuttgart and Karlsruhe based emopop/slowcore outfit Park Walker crafts intimate, nostalgic songs that feel like a quiet walk through the city’s green refuges. Built on interwoven clean guitars, steady bass lines, relaxed drums, and Nicola’s warm vocals, their sound nods to the emotional clarity of the ’90s and early 2000s, recalling bands like American Football, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Weakerthans. Formed in 2018, ParkWalker released their debut Distant Phenomena in 2021 and are set to unveil their second album The Extra Mile on This Charming Records in autumn 2025, produced and mastered by Christian Bethge.

Utopia Union is a post-rock trio from northwest Germany blending motorik rhythms, krautrock repetition, and expansive, atmospheric soundscapes. Their music explores the idea of a utopian alternative reality — gentle yet persistent, hopeful yet demanding. Following their EPs Innenleben (2018) and Escapism (2020), both praised by the post-rock community, the band will release their debut album Peak Experiences via poly unique music.

Opening the night is Wencke Winters, the solo project of a non-binary multi-instrumentalist and composer based in Germany. Often described as a “queer guitar wunderkind,” Wencke Winters creates intimate, emotionally heavy songs centered around voice and virtuosic fingerstyle guitar, occasionally expanded with bass, drums, and piano.
